This posting is dedicated to my favorite bloggers who have found a way to make me smile, even on the most dismal of days. Look below the fold.
To Musings from the Void who posted this flash drawing of a woman that I would entitle “Resurrection.” Mr. Musings describes the woman as being drawn “from the ground up: literally”. It’s worth checking out, even if it takes a little while to download. Also from Mr. Musings who describes this flash as “Flashy zoo typography fun.” Zoo stuff, complete with sound.
Then, from Expat Nomad, a faithful blogging friend, check out this shot. If you have vertigo, you might want to hang onto your desk. Remember to scroll right.
Then there’s Tequila Mockingbird whose humor always makes me chuckle. This entry reminds me of why I continue to teach.
Then, there’s Geeked., the blogger who’s so hip on techy stuff and at the same time so full of heart, especially when she speaks of social networking and how blogs can be used as a way to connect people. The graphic above comes from her flickr site.
Then there’s hipteacher, who I visit in cyberspace almost everyday to read her honest, heartfelt, and humorous account(s) of “one redheaded girl’s journey into the world of public education.” And last, but not least, a writer-in-spirit-and-practice, Have Coffee Will Write quickens my heart by inspiring me to keep on writing by example and his posting of the Way.
So: three cheers to you all, and the many others that I've met in the blogosphere, who inspire me to keep teaching and keep blogging and most of all: keep writing.
Shalom Michael,
Thank you for honoring me with a place on your list and for finding my "Five Principles Of The Way of the Writer." This was one of the first things I wrote when I first creatd Have Coffee Will Write. Someday I want to teach a course based on these principles.
B'shalom,
Jeff
