Billy Collins, former US Poet Laureate and one of America's best-selling poets, reads his poem "Forgetfulness" with animation by Julian Grey of Headgear. It's worth a view! | <>>
I love this video because it includes images of seagulls, and my friend Mr. Noisy created a video about seagulls last week. (He inadvertently called them pigeons in the first version!. You can see his short (and funny!) video here. ) But I digress. Back to Billy. I own every book of poetry that Billy Collins has written, and often listen to the live version of this poetry readings on his album "The Best Cigarette." Since we're studying video editing in our summer graduate classes here in the U.K., I can't help but marvel at the technique and attention to detail in this video by Julian Grey.(Thanks, Bluegrass Poet, for the link!) | <>>
Billy Collins touched my son!!! Hehe.
Hi Shamash, I hope you're well. We're having another baby and I have been really low energy and tired. Glad to see you're still blogging away.
Peace
