"Earth Floats"
on this boat
we are all sliding through water
we are all rowing through stars
desire lives in the sound of guns
in the tiny explosions,
in the bursts of color - red
but love
love has no pigment,
love is always detaching itself from the earth
transparent
and quietly breathing.
love is so silent that even in its weight
it is as if it were
not
there
