Bluest Eyes wore her black strappy ones, and I slipped on the silk ones that I bought in Saigon last March. Carrie Bradshaw would have been proud, even though they weren't Prada.

Chivalry Detected

chivalry: n. the qualities idealized by knighthood, such as bravery, courtesy, and honor.

 

chivalrous: adj. characterized by consideration and courtesy, especially towards women.

 

It’s official. Small but honorable acts of chivalry have recently been detected in the city.
